About the VTE Powered Hoist Trolley

The Yale VTE power drive trolley is fairly compact to ensure a low height overall, thus good when headroom is tight. Models are available that can handle 1000kg, 2000kg, 3000kg or 5000kg loads. What’s more you can opt for a dual speed version which gives you a slower speed option which can help with precision and control of the load.

Power Drive Hoist Trolley Specifics

With a worm gear transmission in the travel motor, start up is smooth, so is the self braking system.

The easy to use pendant controller is IP65 rated, whereas the motor is IP55 rated.

There is a universal shackle point so hoist and load connections can be easily made.

Standard trolleys are 3 phase operating at 400v & 50Hz power but if you require a 110v or 230v trolley then we can help as they are available on request.

Devices are fitted to prevent tilting and dropping, thus further enhancing the safety benefits. The other safety benefits to using a powered device is the minimal physical effort needed to operate the system. This means low risk of strain and injury from pushing loads.

Other Beam Attachment Options

If the power drive trolley is not right for your needs then consider a geared trolley, a non-powered, easy option that is operated with the pull on a chain. A push travel trolley may also be worth considering, these need physically pushing along, thus the cheapest option.
If you don’t need your hoist to move over a beam then take a look at our beam clamp options. These are typically a cheaper option and remain fixed in the position you place them until removed.
