About the Tiger PROCB Chain Block

The brake system sets this manual chain block apart from many others. Consisting of a patented quad cam brake pawl set up to ensure optimum safety. The load will still be held even if a spring pawl fails, what’s more the brake will still function.

The brake efficiency is top notch thanks to the 8 point multi-start thread pinion shaft. This essentially doubles the lead distance when compared to a typical 4 point shaft system.

Available with overload protection, provided by a slip clutch, therefore if overloading occurs the chain wheel slips the hand wheel can rotate but will not engage the gearbox, thus load can not be lifted, although can be lowered.

Significant testing has taken place with the PROCB manual chain block, thus can be used for fleeting, drifting and cross-hauling tasks up to 60 degrees from vertical safely.

Every chain block comes with a test certificate, EC declaration of conformity to prove compliance with the machinery directive 2006/42/EC. Proof loaded to 1.5 times the rated capacity, also certified 2% light load protection.

The safe operating temperature range is from -40 to +80 degrees C.
