About the Yale 360 Mini Chain Block
This mini chain block comes from the Yale 360 range of hoisting equipment which incorporates the standard sized version of this mini chain block as well as the Ergo 360 lever hoist and utility ratchet hoist.
The 360 collection boasts multi-directional operation thanks to the 360 degree rotational hand wheels. Thus the lever or hand chain can be pulled in any direction to suit your set up. What’s more, because of the way the you can set up the hoist for your lifting task you can remain clear of the danger zone throughout operation.
The biggest benefit if the mini chain hoist is its size. In fact it will make an great addition to your tool box, especially if you work in different areas. They clip nicely onto a tool belt too. The smallest 250kg model measures up at approximately 245mm long from inner top hook to inner bottom hook; 84mm wide and 87mm deep. So with the main unit being under just 9 cm it really is quite small.
Another plus point is the handling weight, thanks to the die-cast aluminium body it is just 2.9kg for the 250kg model and 4.3kg for the 500kg model. Don’t forget to add on any extra weight for chain over the 3 m standard.
With all the safety features of the standard model you can’t go wrong. Ideal for lifting, pulling and positioning applications just about anywhere.
We supply this mini manual chain hoist with a 3 metre height of lift as standard, if you need any more, just ask!
Other Mini Chain Block Features
In addition to the above information the mini chain block has all its internal components well protected thanks to the compact housing. This means it may be used outdoors or in more rugged environments. Always check manufacturers instructions.
Both hooks have been forged from an age resistant high-alloy tempered steel and include robust safety catches. These hooks will yield or bend if overloaded rather than break/snap completely.
The load chain is galvanised and fits the chain wheel perfectly for optimum operation. A load pressure brake holds the load securely as soon as the hand chain is slackened, thus its held in any position.
