The Liftket Low Headroom Electric Hoist

The Liftker low headroom electric hoists are based on the Liftket Star electric hoist (details & specs here) the low headroom version enables the hoist body to be tilted at an angle thanks to the special suspension system. Incorporating two trolleys the hoist will fit to the first one and the second trolley is powered for easy beam traversing.

Although the hoist body is inverted the load chain will still exit the hoist body in the same way as if it was vertically fitted. However the load chain will then pass over two precisely positioned sprockets so that the bottom block and load hook hang vertically. This will be directly under the second power trolley.

This configuration enables a shorter headroom and thus more lifting height than a regular hoist. For single fall models it is just 303mm whilst double fall models it is 403mm.

The Ultra Low Headroom Electric Hoist with Power Pack

The ultra low headroom electric hoist from Liftket will give you the biggest height of lift possible due to the configuration, in fact the hoists setup gives you a headroom of just 180mm.

Another benefit is the bigger lifting capacity, up to 4000kg, thanks to the twin hoist and additional power pack set up. The power pack enables both electric hoists to be controlled in tandem via one control unit, radio controlled units are also available.

The ultra low headroom is achieved due to the positioning of the hoists. They are seated above the lower beam flange, lever with the trolley wheels. When it comes to lifting a load, the two hoists are connected via the load chain to a special yoke and hook system.
