About the Yale VSIII Chain Manual Chain Hoist

The Yale VSIII chain block (Yale VS3)is an updated version of the older Yale VS plus  manual chain hoist. It removes any niggles that you may have encountered with the older model.

These Yale VS3 chain hoists are easy and efficient to operate. With optimization of the hand forces and the smoothest yet in operation.

The hand chain guide has been greatly improved to alleviate the problems of tilting and/or jamming. The hand chain now runs smoothly every time with no jams.

Other Yale VSIII Chain Block Features

The load chain sheave uses high quality needle bearings to maximise its working life which is now even longer. There are the precision machined rollers guide the chain so they run smoothly throughout operation. The gearbox and the side plates also consist of high quality ball bearings to enhance longevity.

This chain block is a robust piece of hoisting equipment and incorporates a reinforced hand wheel cover and strong bolts in-between the side plates and main housing cover. These help to protect internal parts as well as adding increased stability to the hoist. The guide rollers and brake components are zinc plated & yellow-chromated to higher the corrosion protection. The load chain comes with zinc plating as standard.

Lifting Hoists Direct Can supply the Yale VS3 manual chain hoist in lifting capacities up to 5000kg with a 3 metre height of lift as standard. It is possible for us to re-chain the hoist with longer lengths if required at additional cost per metre.

There are a couple of optional extras available to further enhance this hoist. Options include an overload protection device for extra safety.
