About the Kito LB Lever Hoist

ratchet lever hoist has a patented, induction hardening process applied to the load bearing parts. Together with the double reduction gearing both the size and weight of the hoist have been reduced but its strength has been increased. This also means that transportation is easier and so is its operation, furthermore less manual hand power is required.

The LB ratchet hoist incorporates a free wheeling mode with added overload protection. This enables the chain to be pulled through quickly for faster load attachment. Due to its design, the load will not be dropped even if the free wheel mode is activated accidentally. This mode is activated by pulling out the freewheel knob rather than flicking over a lever like most other hoists of this type. Therefore the hoist is safer.

The body of the hoist is made from quality steel and the hooks are forged carbon steel which will not fracture. The load chain has been nickel plated for corrosion resistance.

Model Options

There are a number of options available for the Kito LB  hoist. Firstly the standard model (yellow knob) with free wheeling mode can be purchased directly online. However other options are price on application. Therefore if you need these other options just give us a call on 01384 76961.

Secondly the LB-OLL ( black knob) model has an overload slip clutch. Meanwhile the LB-OF (blue knob) comes without the freewheeling mechanism.

Other optional extras available on request are the special clip which can be used to add traction for use with wire rope. (not for slinging tasks). There is also a shipyard hook option with a special type of hook and safety latch, typically used in ship building and sheet metal handling. A chain locking device is also available to protect the chain pin and nut, as well as a visible load signal device to alert the user if a load is too heavy.
