About the Yale CPA Mini Pneumatic Air Hoist

The Yale CPA mini air hoist is compact and light enough to be transported easily. It is suitable for most industrial applications for loads up to 980kg. The hoist runs on a compressed air supply at 5 – 7 bar pressures, and boasts an automatic, self- adjusting disc brake which is maintenance free.

The motor is the rotating piston type and has a 100% duty rating which allows continuous operation and/or unlimited start ups.

For additional safety Yale has incorporated both upper and lower limiters for safeguarding the top and bottom hook positions.

There is a pendant type control panel with very sensitive controls for precise movements. There is also an emergency stop button should the need arise to stop the hoist immediately.

From paper mills to paint factories; shipyards to aircraft industries and the automobile industries are just some areas that utilize these air hoists.

As you will see from the specification tables below there are 2 models which are ATEX rated. This means they are suitable for use in potentially explosive atmospheres / hazardous areas. These models are the CPA 2-31 and the CPA 5-17. Both of these, together with the standard CPA 10-9 come with an air release brake as standard.

Optional extras available include pressure regulator, manometer, lubricator and chain containers.
