Benefits of Using Electric Hoist Remote Controls
As mentioned above, the fact that you can drive your electric lifting hoist from a distance has many benefits. Firstly you can stay out of the danger zone – the area under the lifting application, thus your own personal safety is greatly improved.
Secondly they can be used with the majority of powered hoists and crane systems.
Thirdly you are not restricted to short pendant control cables, which are not always reachable, depending on where the hoist is located. If its high up it can be almost impossible.
How does a hoist remote control system work?
The system we supply operates via radio waves using advanced RF controls.
A receiver is fitted to the electric hoist and has a range of configuration options. The transmitter is in your hand held control unit. So when you press a button a signal will be sent to the receiver and work the hoist accordingly. There are a number of channels available which can be changer in the receiver to ensure you get the optimum signal in your location. Please note; the receiver and transmitter should always have a clear line of sight. It is also advisable to keep the receiver far away from any other devices with a variable frequency, this may interfere with the signal.
Our system is programmable so you can select the specific functions you need in the order you want. What's more pairing transmitters is an option, this means that should you hand held transmitter runs out of power the data can be transferred to another unit, essentially cloning it. Having more than one unit means that your downtime will be minimal, if any. You can keep one charging whilst using the other.
The transmitter units are available with multiple button options, choose from 4, 6, 8 or 12, each programmable to your preferred function.
