Why choose Adaptor Hoists
Standard chain blocks and lever hoists have pretty standard safety hooks for suspension and load attachment. However sometimes these fittings are not ideal for your application so an adaptor hoist could be a better option.
Adaptor hoists incorporate clevis fittings which enable the adaptors to be switched out for something more suitable. Both top and bottom fittings can be changed as and when needed, therefore these hoists can be adapted to suit either your suspension point or your load, or both at any time making them very versatile.
Adaptor Hoist Options
Firstly you need to decide which type of hoist you would like. The chain block adaptor hoist can be based on the standard Tiger PROCB manual chain block or the Tiger SS20 chain block.
The Lever hoist can be based on the Tiger PROLH ratchet lever hoist or the SS19 ratchet hoist model.
There are 4 key adaptor options which are a clevis shackle adaptor, a self locking safety hook, a reevable egg masterlink or a sling hook adaptor.
Each hoist and chosen adaptor can be supplied with working load limits up to 1000kg.
Other Benefits
Another key benefit to the Tiger adaptor hoists is the knuckle design of the fittings. This enables each adaptor to swivel through the full 360 degrees as well as pivot through 180 degrees, thus enabling easy anchoring and lifting at angles.
These hoists are suitable for cross hauling/fleeting applications with no de-ration of the WLL required.
The adaptor is drop forged for optimum strength and is certified at 4:1 for all angles. The fittings meet the required EN1677 values for grade 10. Overload protection is also available.
