About BSW collared Eye Bolts

BSW or British Standard Whitworth threaded eye bolts have thread sizes measured in inches and must be used with the same corresponding recess.

Size wise there is a good choice with threaded shanks starting at 3/8 inch and go up to 1 ½ inches online and 2 inches on request. WLL range from 0.25 to 6.5 tons when purchasing online, however we can usually supply some additional sizes either side of these figures on request.(Typically down to 0.1 ton up to 12 ton max)

Each size has its own corresponding working load limit as well as differing dimensions.

Manufactured from EN14 or equivalent materials these eye bolts have a good safety record with a safety factor of 5 X WLL, that’s 5 times the stated working load limit.
