About the Imer Airone Stand Hoist
When purchasing the Imer airone stand hoist you will be supplied just the hoist on its bracket. The stand alone prop and ballast container are sold separately. Please get in touch to enquire. Although this hoist may also be used on a standard prop fitted to a scaffold pole.
The inverted configuration of the Airone stand hoist makes it easier to install due to the better weight distribution for the handler.
The arm on the Airone can be extended up to 1100mm. There is no loss of lifting capacity no matter where the hoist is positioned. Together with its ability to swivel on its bracket/frame and its raised loading point, the passing of loads through smaller spaces such as a window is easily achievable when it is used with its stand and ballast box. A further benefit to this extended reach is that bulkier materials can be lifted away from the edge of the building. Therefore minimising the risk of the load hitting the structure.
There are two models available in the Imer Airone hoist range. They have capacities of 200kg and 300kg. Both models have an average lifting speed of 19 meters per minute and that is when it is fully loaded. 30 meters is the maximum height of lift attainable thanks to the 31 meters of 5mm diameter quality steel wire rope supplied. Its compact dimensions of 820mm long x 350mm wide x 550mm high means it will take up less space than a standard scaffold hoist.

Other Builders Stand Hoists & Gantry Hoists
There are numerous options when it comes to choosing a hoisting system for use on a building site. Scaffold hoists are perhaps the most convenient and common option but when this system won’t work a stand hoist system is a good option. The electric builders hoist is attached to a stand alone gantry frame which is counter balanced by means of ballast boxes. Imer offer numerous model options in this builders gantry hoist category but you will also find great options from TEA L’Europea. So assess your needs and compare our gantry hoists to ensure you choose the most suitable model. Lifting Hoists Direct can offer help and advice should you need it, call 01384 76961.
