. About the Imer AP150 Scaffold Winch

With the Imer  AP150 scaffold winch there is no need to carry the main hoist unit to the top of a scaffolding tower. The AP150 winch operates a little differently.

The main winching unit is base mounted, meaning it sits on the ground. However, depending on the height you need to lift materials you can position it on a higher level. Providing it is stable and of a suitable position to operate unhindered.

So, although you do not need to carry a hoist to the high lever where you need it, you will have to transport the swivelling scaffold bracket and hoist hook on the end of the wire rope. Though this is much easier than a heavy hoist.

The bracket clamps to a scaffold pole and can be pivoted into the required position thanks to its swivel action. The wire rope will need to be pulled out from the winch base unit and passed through the two pulleys located within the bracket. The load hook can then be extended down to attach to the load. This may be on any level or on the ground.

Lifting with the AP150 Winch

81 meters of 4mm diameter wire rope is supplied to attain the 40 meters maximum height of lift. And with an average of 30 meters per minute speeds when loaded the AP150 scaffold winch can handle loads up to 150kg efficiently.

This scaffold winch is operated via a pendant control. This comes with a 5 meter long cable for easy operation from a good distance away. This enhances the safety of the operator because he/she can remain out of the path of the moving load. The bracket the hoist fits to can be swivelled. Meaning the load can be easily be moved to the required position and therefore avoid any obstacles.
