Misia Electric Chain Hoist MH Features
There are a number of key components in the MH electric hoist that ensure optimum operation. From the housing to the chain container and all the components in between you can be assured of a high quality lifting hoist.
Here we briefly look at each key part;
- The housing has an aluminium die-cast casing with a shock resistant control panel covering. Electro-magnetic contactors are used in the control panel which is low voltage.
- A 3 phase, asynchronous pole change motor provides the power and has a cylindrical rotor and class F insulation.
- Dual speeds ranging from 1 metre per minute to 8 metres per minute (varies between models – see specifications)
- When it comes to safety the brake mechanism is an important aspect. The MH hoist uses an electro-mechanical FD type disk brakes complete with a dust protection ring for safe, and quick braking.
- The gearbox is another important feature on an electric hoist so the Misia MH encompasses a parallel shaft 3 stage system which incorporates helical gearing for smooth and vibration free transmission.
- Overloading a hoist can be detrimental to the hoist and user so the MH incorporates a friction slip clutch for optimum protection. Re-adjustment can and should be made after 20k slip occurrences.
- The pendant controller is of the push button design for optimal use and is IP65 protected.
- Fatigue and wear resistant galvanised steel chain is used for the load chain and conforms to EN 818-7.
- The containers for excess chain are made from robust plastic and come in 2 sizes to suit all models.
Misia MH electric Hoist Configuration Options
In order to be able to suit different lifting application set ups the Misia MH electric hoist is available in a choice of configurations. The options are predominantly associated with the suspension type.
The options are:
- Eye suspension (standard option)
- Swivel hook suspension
- Integrated push travel trolley
- Integrated Electric trolley
The full specifications and dimensions for each set up can be found in the specifications above along with the information brochure and user manual PDF downloads.
We have a number of other electric hoists to choose from including models with similar configuration options such as the Donati DMK hoist.
