Red Rooster TCS High Speed Air Hoist Models

There are essentially four different variations available for the Red Rooster TCS high speed air hoists collection.

Firstly there are the 2 stand alone hoists which come in two working load limit capacities – 500kg and 980kg. The other 2 models are the same hoists but with an incorporated air powered trolley system.

Each set up is designed to be lightweight and can be used in ATEX zone 2 as standard. Using a 6 bar working pressure these air hoists offer fast, safe and versatile lifting solutions even in harsh conditions.

TCS Air Hoist Speeds

The two TCS models have different speeds for lifting and lowering when loaded or unloaded.

Here is the breakdown;

TCS-500 Lift unloaded = 33m/min; loaded = 17m/min; Lowering with load = 34m/min

TCS-980 Lift unloaded = 17m/min; loaded = 8.5m/min; Lowering with load = 17m/min

The trolley is capable of travelling speeds to 9 metres per minute but the travel speed should be 6m/min in ATEX zone1.

All hoists and trolleys comply with the UK supply of machinery regulations 2008 and the EU machinery directive. Hoists can be UKCA or CE marked.
