From a small 500kg hoist, mid range hoist at 1000kg to much higher heavy weight capacities. They also come with a range of heights of lift and falls of chain (single or double are most commonly used). Single or dual speed, single or 3 phase power, 110v hoist systems and 240v systems are available. We can also supply an electric trolley system to compliment your hoist.

Delta Electric Hoist Range

First and foremost Delta hoists provide a great, price comparable hoisting system to other well known brands. Often cheaper when purchased here thanks to being a Delta partner.

At present there are two  hoist models available, the DEH and the DTS. Both are great hoists although the DEH is the most compact and has undergone an overhaul, updating key components to ensure they can keep up with even the most arduous lifting tasks.

Due to the fact that the DEH electric chain hoist incorporates a great plug and play style design parts can easily be changed out. You can even opt for a radio remote control system for even easier operation.

The top lifting capacity in this range is 2000kg and comes with a 6 metre height of lift as standard. The DTS hoist is slightly larger but has top lifting capacities of 5000kg with a 6 metre lifting height as standard. This hoist also has a choice of suspensions like the DEH as well as the plug and play functionality.

Reliable relay contactors are used in these hoists enabling quick switch outs should one fail. With the plug and play system the hoist set up can be altered to suit your requirements.

There is just one model that Stahl now use as the basis for all their electric chain hoists – the ST. A modular hoisting system with multiple set up options has come about from regular enquiries about lifting certain troublesome loads. So the popular set ups became part of the range. Due to the fact that the complete system of Stahl hoists is modular, the ST hoist can be used in a wide range of lifting applications. Make light work of lifting heavy loads with a Kito electric chain hoist. We have three models to choose from which includes a lightweight model, a heavy duty model and a compact, variable speed model so there is something for every scenario.

The Kito ED hoist is the light weight offering but is still capable of lifting up to 480kg. Single speed and dual speed options are available, all having a 3 meter height of lift as standard. This hoist also has the EDC variant which has the tool handling mechanism and has a maximum capacity of 240kg, perfect for bench work and production lines etc.

Next we have the Kito EQ hoist with models available with lifting capacities between 125kg and 1000kg. This is the most compact and lightweight hoist in the Kito range and boasts dual speed functionality. GIS electric chain hoists have been in use around the world for many years. They are a well trusted brand. GIS have been manufacturing hoists for over 50 years, and continuously keep up with the latest technological advances. This means that GIS powered hoists are constantly evolving. Ensuring you get the highest productivity from these hoists. Other factors at the forefront of development are safety, longevity, ease of use, easy maintenance and repairs and versatility.

There are currently three models in the GIS collection and whichever electric chain hoist model you choose you can be assured of the highest quality and a hoist with the latest technological advances.

The GCH is a popular hoist which has been produced since 2005 and is used across a wide range of industries. The range includes many models with lifting capacities ranging from 250kg up to 2500kg, though has a good range of duty classification options which may higher the SWL. The latest hoist range from GIS is the GPM range (produced since 2014) and the GP range. (produced since January 2017) Eventually this will supersede the older GCH hoist range. The GPM is currently available in only a 250kg model. Whilst the latest GP range has 250 & 500kg standard models, this will increase in the near future. The GP range has special models with lifting capacities up to 2500kg. The GIS GP Special Products include Atex rated models, Corrosion resistant versions, single phase options and handy tool options. As well as hoists for use with wind turbines and for use in the entertainment industries.

Demag Electric Hoists

The long established and well known brand name ‘Demag’ is one of the best respected within the lifting gear industry. (now part of the Terex group, and re-branded - Terex Demag ). A Demag hoist is very reliable and quite compact. Although it is robust enough to complete most lifting and manoeuvring tasks within most workplace situations. Demag electric chain hoists come in a great range of models and safe working load limits. Thus there should be a model to suit your requirements.

There is a range of 6 hoists available to suit a wide variety of lifting applications. Consequently there are various types of suspension points and a range of trolley systems available to further compliment your hoist. Demag hoists also manufacture the Manulift which is the perfect accompaniment to any workbench. The Manulift enables you to lift, lower and move loads and tools with great precision on and around your working area. The DC-Pro electric chain hoist and the DCS-Pro hoist offer exceptional quality and lifting power with 5000kg & 3500kg lifting capacities respectively. Where are electric Chain hoists used?

An electric chain hoist can be used in a huge variety of areas to aid in lifting and lowering heavy loads. How is an Electric Chain Hoist Used?

An Electric chain hoist will be typically used together with an electric trolley system on a Jib crane, Overhead Crane, Mobile Lifting Gantry or workshop runway. They can be supplied with different suspension types for fitting to a variety of apparatus. Hook or lug suspension points are the most common. Beam / girder clamps and beam trolleys are the easiest way to connect your hoist to a gantry or jib crane beam. A beam trolley allows movement of the hoist across the length of the beam. There are two main types; a manual push travel trolley or an electric trolley. We can also supply a variety of fittings to fit onto the loading hook. Loose lifting tackle includes many types of chain slings (2,3 or 4 leg), wire ropes, webbing slings and a wide range of different hooks and catches. Safety Tips When using an Electric Powered Hoist

All our electric chain hoists are supplied with instructions for using them safely, and advice on maintenance and inspections. These hoists should only be used by trained operatives and/or  those who understand the capabilities of the hoist. How to use associated equipment with the hoist is equally important for safety. Electric chain hoists should always be clearly marked with their safe working load limit. The SWL should never be exceeded. If the hoist is to be used constantly with loads close to its limit, then it would be wise to consider a hoist with a larger lifting capacity.
